3. Harvesting Hair Follicles

The first stage of the procedure involves harvesting hair follicles from the patient’s donor areas. Extraction is performed with the use of a micro-punch. Harvested follicles will be stored in a special solution to sterilize and maintain properties.
Patients lacking enough follicles may opt for facial hair extraction, most commonly from the beard area.
