Reasons for Breast Implant Removal

In certain instances, Breast Implants should be removed. It is essential to recognize why this is the reason that the implants should be removed.

Old Implants: Although implants are not considered surgical instruments and have no expiry date, most implants inside the body have a lifespan of around 10 to 20 years.
Appearance: Many people prefer to remove implants for aesthetic purposes. When time passes, patients can feel that their old implants do not adapt to their bodies. Age, pregnancy, and breastfeeding may have affected the breast tissue that surrounds the implants. Also, the patient may no longer be happy with their breast size or shape and want to make a change.
Pain or Discomfort: When you have some pain or discomfort caused by your implants, removing the implants can extinguish that pain.
