Reasons for Prominent Ears

Otoplasty Methods

There are two options available for patients who are looking for corrected prominent ears.

Traditional Otoplasty

Traditional otoplasty is a lot more invasive and complicated as required. The surgeon makes incisions at the back of the ears to access and manipulate the cartilage to reshape and reposition the ears. The surgeon may use;

-Ear augmentation if the patient ears have not fully developed.
-Ear pinning on individuals whose ears stick out prominently from the sides of their head
-Ear reduction to reduce the patient’s ear size.

Non-Surgical Otoplasty
