Istanbul, Turkey — Six Techniques, One Finite Donor Area
You Are Not Growing New Hair. You Are Spending Hair You Already Have.
Four packages from €2,500, up to 6,000 grafts, six techniques. 6–8 hours under local anaesthetic, three hotel nights, and a final result at nine to twelve months. Hotel, private transfers, aftercare and twelve months of follow-up included.
Real cases from our Istanbul facility, with written consent, each dated. Nothing before month nine is a finished result — which is why the early ones are labelled as such rather than presented as the outcome. Results vary widely.

Recorded with consent, and deliberately none of them filmed at month three. Before nine months there is nothing honest to film.

Every clinic sells a technique name. What actually decides your result is how many grafts your donor area can spare, where they are placed, and who is holding the punch. Pick the technique that fits your case — not the one with the newest name.

Shaved · the baseline technique
Follicular units are taken out of the donor area one at a time with a micro-punch under a millimetre wide, then placed into channels opened in the thinning area. There is no strip and no linear scar — the donor area heals as scattered dots that disappear under short hair. Every other technique on this list except FUT is a variation on this one.
You want the widest graft range and do not mind the head being shaved.
Donor area: Heals as pinpoint dots, invisible at a few millimetres of hair length. Session: 6–8 hours under local anaesthetic, in one day.

Education
Turkey does more hair transplants than anywhere else, and that cuts both ways. The volume buys genuine expertise and genuinely lower prices — and it also fills the market with clinics selling graft counts nobody’s donor area can support. Ask who performs the implantation before you ask what it costs.

Theatres, recovery and aftercare in the same building, not a subcontracted hospital.

1,020,000 international operations were performed in Turkey in 2023. Volume is the honest advantage.

Lower operating costs, not lower standards. The same procedure runs £3,000–£10,000 in the UK.

If your donor area cannot spare 6,000 grafts, we will not quote you 6,000 grafts.

Ask what happens when the transplanted hair falls out. It will, and it is normal.
You aren't growing new hair — you're relocating a limited supply. Every step protects it.
The number comes from your scalp, not the package ceiling of 6,000.
If recession is active, medication may come first so grafts aren't placed into a moving target.
The line is set with later loss in mind and approved by you in a mirror.
Local anaesthetic by fine needle or needle-free gas, breaks included.
Shafts fall at around three weeks, shoots appear near month four, and density builds to month twelve.
Straight answers on eligibility, packages, the operation day and the twelve months it takes for a hair transplant to finish.
A hair transplant is a surgical procedure that moves hair follicles from the back and sides of the scalp, where they resist pattern hair loss, into thinning or bald areas. It does not create new hair; it redistributes a limited supply. That is why the number of grafts your donor area can safely spare is the key figure in planning.
The technique should follow your case. Sapphire FUE suits large areas that need density, DHI suits hairlines and patients who cannot shave, hybrid combines both when the front and crown need different approaches, unshaven keeps treatment discreet, and FUT is reserved for very large graft needs or a donor area already thinned by earlier FUE.
Good candidates have pattern hair loss or hair lost to injury, a stable loss pattern and enough donor hair to cover the target area. If your hair loss is still progressing quickly, medication is often recommended first, because transplanting into a receding pattern can lead to a second procedure sooner than expected.
Every technique has its own page, with the graft ceiling, the shaving requirement, the recovery and who it actually suits. Start with the one your case points to — or ask us first.
Personalised Care, Just for You
Send photographs of the front, top, crown and back of your head. A surgeon replies with the graft number your donor area can actually spare, which of the six techniques it calls for, what it costs with hotel and transfers included, and how long the result will take. Including when the honest answer is fewer grafts than you hoped for, or medication before surgery. No obligation, no cost.
