Labiaplasty has an unusual risk profile. Bleeding settles, wound separation heals, asymmetry can be corrected at a second sitting. Taking too much tissue cannot be undone, because there is nothing to put back. That single asymmetry between the risks should decide how the operation is planned.

Plastic Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery
Dr Emre G. qualified in medicine at Uludağ University in 2007 and completed his specialist training in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at Bezmialem Vakıf University between 2008 and 2014, with a research post at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. No. Labiaplasty is planned around your anatomy, comfort and function, not around an image. Appearance varies widely between women, and attempting to match a photograph can lead to removing too much tissue, which cannot be undone. Your surgeon explains what is realistic for your anatomy.
