Istanbul, Turkey — Diagnosis First, Grafts Second
Find Out Why It Is Falling Before You Pay Anyone to Move It
DHI without shaving, or FUE and sapphire where the case calls for them. Up to 7,000 grafts, six to eight hours under local anaesthetic, results at six to twelve months. Several causes of female hair loss are treatable without surgery, and we look for those first.
Female cases from our Istanbul facility, with written consent, each dated. None of them shaved their head, and one of them did not have surgery at all. Results vary widely.

Natural Clinic brings several specialist fields together under one roof: hair transplantation, dentistry, facial, body and breast aesthetics, bariatric surgery and reconstructive treatments. Cross-disciplinary medical teams, multilingual coordination and internationally recognised safety standards carry each patient from consultation and treatment planning through to recovery and aftercare.

Male pattern loss recedes and leaves a dense donor area behind it. Female loss usually thins diffusely across the whole top of the head — and sometimes the donor area with it. That changes what is possible, and it means the first question is not how many grafts but why the hair is falling in the first place.
Usually DHI · no shaving · up to 7,000 grafts
Six to eight hours in one day under local anaesthetic. For most women the technique is DHI, for one practical reason: it needs no shaving, and existing length is left exactly where it is. FUE and sapphire FUE are available where a case genuinely calls for the larger session they allow — both require the head to be shaved, which is why they are the exception rather than the default here. The work itself is the same as any transplant; what differs is the planning that comes before it.
Loss has been stable and diagnosed, the donor area at the back and sides has held its density, and the thinning is patterned rather than diffuse everywhere.
Up to 7,000 grafts, the same ceiling for every technique. DHI is slower per follicle, so a large area may take two visits.

Education
Turkey performed over 1,020,000 international procedures in 2023, and that cuts both ways. The volume buys real expertise and real savings — and it also produces clinics that treat every enquiry as a booking. Ask what they want to know about your health before you ask what it costs.

Lower operating costs, not lower standards. The same procedure runs £3,000–£10,000 in the UK.

Ask what happens when the transplanted hair falls out. It will, and it is normal.
Women's hair loss is often diffuse and medically driven, so surgery is the last decision, not the first.
Thyroid, ferritin and hormonal history are checked, including pregnancy and menopause.
If donor hair is also affected, a transplant may not hold.
Most cases avoid visible shaving so the procedure stays private.
Hot tools, hair dye and pulled-back ponytails all stress fresh grafts, so each has its own green-light date in your aftercare sheet.
Women's hair loss often has a medical cause. These answers explain when a female hair transplant helps and when it does not.
A female hair transplant moves follicles from a stable donor area into thinning zones typical of women's hair loss, such as a widening parting, a thinning crown or a high hairline. It is usually planned to be discreet, often without visible shaving, and only after the cause of the hair loss has been investigated.
It can help, but only when the donor area at the back of the head is stable. In many women with diffuse thinning, that area is also affected, which means transplanted follicles may not keep their density. A careful donor assessment is therefore the most important step before any plan is made.
Because women's hair loss often has a medical cause, blood tests for iron, thyroid function and relevant hormones are usually reviewed first, along with medication and history such as pregnancy or menopause. If a treatable cause is found, correcting it may come before, or instead of, surgery.
The technique pages below go into each method in detail. If shaving is not an obstacle for you, the shaved techniques place more grafts in a single day.
Personalised Care, Just for You
Send photographs of the front, top, crown and back of your head. A surgeon replies with the graft number your donor area can actually spare, which of the six techniques it calls for, what it costs with hotel and transfers included, and how long the result will take. Including when the honest answer is fewer grafts than you hoped for, or medication before surgery. No obligation, no cost.
