Plastic surgery in Turkey covers a wide range of facial, body, breast and genital procedures carried out for aesthetic or reconstructive reasons. Depending on the case, treatment may involve a single operation or several procedures planned together as part of one surgical plan.
For international patients, choosing a procedure is rarely the first decision. Anatomy, general health, previous surgery, weight stability and individual goals all influence which approach is appropriate, and whether surgery is appropriate at all.
Who May Consider Plastic Surgery
Plastic surgery may be considered by patients concerned with facial proportion, signs of ageing, body contour after weight change or pregnancy, breast size, shape or symmetry, or functional and aesthetic genital concerns.
Some patients have a single concern; others have several that may be addressed together. Having more than one concern does not mean every available procedure is required. Suitability depends on general health, anatomy and long-term goals rather than on what is technically possible.
How Surgery Is Planned
Planning begins with a medical assessment rather than with a chosen procedure. Medical history, current medication, previous surgery and anaesthetic history are reviewed before a surgical date is confirmed.
At Natural Clinic patients are examined in person by their surgeon before surgery, and risks, alternatives and expected outcomes are discussed at that consultation. Where two procedures are combined, they are planned and priced as one operation, and total operating time is assessed as part of that decision.
Recovery and Time in Turkey
Most procedures require around seven days in Istanbul, including one or two nights of hospitalisation. Breast surgery generally requires seven to ten days before flying.
Recovery continues after returning home and varies by procedure: light activity is typically resumed at about a week, while full recovery ranges from one to six months. Final results may take longer still — around a year for rhinoplasty, and six to twelve months for body contouring.
Plastic Surgery in Istanbul
Istanbul is a major destination for international patients seeking aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, with hospital-grade facilities, accommodation and aftercare frequently arranged as a single package.
Individual procedures can be explored in more detail through the dedicated pages on this website, grouped as Face Surgery, Body Surgery, Breast Surgery and Genital Surgery. Each has different indications, techniques and recovery requirements.
A Personalised Approach
Plastic surgery ranges from a single short procedure to combined operations planned across one visit. The appropriate approach depends on the patient’s anatomy, health, expectations and the recovery they can realistically accommodate.
Rather than treating surgery as a product to compare on price, it is more useful to consider it as an individual plan in which assessment, procedure selection, surgical technique, recovery and follow-up work together. The treatment guides on this website provide a starting point; a clinical assessment determines which approach is appropriate for the individual case.
