Istanbul, Turkey — Provisional Crowns, Fitted Same Day
Your Last Free Chance to Change the Shape.
Nobody leaves this clinic without teeth. Temporaries go on the day of preparation — €120 a jaw, itemised rather than absorbed — and what you approve in them is exactly what gets made in ceramic.
Real cases treated at our Istanbul clinic, shared with written patient consent. Every one of them passed through a provisional first — the stage where the shape was agreed.

Short video testimonials recorded with patient consent. Every one of these patients approved their new tooth shape in a provisional before a single ceramic unit was made.

A temporary crown is not a placeholder to be endured. It protects the prepared tooth, trains the gum into the shape the final crown will emerge from, and lets you wear the new design before anything permanent is made.

Between preparation and fitting
Fitted the same day your teeth are prepared, worn while the permanent units are made in our laboratory upstairs, and removed at the fitting appointment.
Protects the tooth, holds the bite, shapes the gum, previews the design.
2–4 days for crowns; 3–6 months on implants.

Implant Dentistry
Born in Bandırma in 1995, Dr Ömer Reşat Gültek studied at İnegöl Mediha Hayri Çelik Science High School before turning to dentistry — and he still thinks like a materials scientist. Which ceramic, which technique, which protocol for this particular tooth: those are the questions he takes seriously, and they are why his root canal treatments hold. What patients mention, though, is the manner. He explains as he works, he does not rush, and a single filling gets the same attention as a full arch.
Certificates
Because the laboratory is in the same building. In a practice that ships work to an external laboratory, two to three weeks in a provisional is standard and a shade correction adds another fortnight. Here the same cycle is measured in days, which is the single practical reason the whole treatment fits into one trip.

High case volume means dental teams refine crown, veneer, implant and full-arch protocols at scale, not occasionally.

CBCT scanning, intraoral scanning and in-house CAD/CAM milling are standard tools here, not premium extras.

Lower laboratory, property and staffing costs reduce the price without requiring lower-grade materials.

Istanbul is connected to hundreds of international destinations, which makes a two-visit plan easy to schedule.

An interpreter and a dedicated coordinator handle communication, planning and aftercare from the first message to the final check.

Reputable dental clinics in Turkey issue a written certificate; ours runs 15 years and names every material used.
A temporary crown protects, holds space and lets you preview shape before the permanent version.
Each provisional has a stated job — shielding a sensitive stump, keeping neighbours from drifting, or letting you test tooth length — and an expected removal date.
A quick-set or milled provisional is shaped and fitted at the preparation visit.
Avoid sticky or hard foods and slide floss out sideways.
During implant healing a provisional may stay until your return visit.
A temporary crown protects your tooth or implant until the permanent one is ready.
Temporary crowns are short-term caps placed on a prepared tooth or an implant while the permanent crown is being made. They protect the tooth, keep your bite and appearance stable and allow you to eat and speak normally during the waiting period.
After a tooth is prepared for a crown, it can be sensitive and vulnerable to damage, and neighbouring teeth can shift if the space is left open. Temporary crowns prevent these problems and also let you try the planned shape before the final crown is made.
Temporary crowns are usually made from quick-setting acrylic or composite materials shaped in the chair, or milled in the laboratory for longer-term use. They are designed to be easy to remove when the permanent crown is ready. Laboratory-made provisionals are typically sturdier and better suited to longer periods.
A provisional only exists because a permanent crown is being made. Which ceramic that turns out to be is the decision worth spending time on — each has its own page, or a dentist will tell you which of your teeth calls for which.
