Istanbul, Turkey — Board-Certified Surgeons, Deep Plane Experience
Matched to Your Degree of Sagging — Not to the Technique That Sounds Most Thorough.
A facelift repositions the SMAS — the sheet of tissue beneath the skin that descends with age — and redrapes the skin over it, correcting jowls, deepened folds and a jawline that has lost its edge.
Documented outcomes across all three techniques, shared with written patient consent. Read them as a range of starting points rather than a ranking: each result belongs to the degree of sagging it was matched to.

Short video testimonials recorded with patient consent. Note how many of them were told a lighter technique was enough — or a deeper one was necessary — before any price was discussed.
Natural Clinic has treated more than 100,000 patients from over 80 countries, and its facial surgery team works across the full technique spectrum — mini, SMAS and deep plane — with deep-plane volume recorded per surgeon rather than pooled into a single facelift number. Accredited theatres and a dedicated anaesthesiology department sit in the same building.

Deep plane, mini and SMAS are three depths of the same operation, and our list carries them as one item at €5,000, performed with a temporal lift. Abroad the technique sets the price and the published gap runs to roughly three times. Here the depth is a surgical decision with no figure attached to it.

The retaining ligaments beneath the SMAS are divided, so the SMAS and the tissue under it move as one connected unit instead of being tightened where they sit. That is what reaches the midface and the cheek. It is the most demanding of the three to perform, and on our list it costs exactly what the other two cost.
Significant sagging with the midface descended, or a result that needs to hold for as long as a facelift can.
One night in hospital, six nights in Istanbul. Light activity at roughly two to three weeks; the tissue settles across twelve months.
Yes — and not because it is cheaper. Working close to the facial nerve rewards repetition, so ask the operating surgeon how many deep plane cases they do a year, and whether a lighter technique would serve you.

Working close to the facial nerve rewards repetition. Monthly is a different position from occasionally.

Examination settles which depth applies before you book, and your written plan names it with the reason.

Lower operating costs and the exchange rate produce a real difference, not a shallower operation.

Istanbul connects directly to hundreds of cities. Six nights here, one in hospital, before the pre-flight check.

Because mini, SMAS and deep plane all cost €5,000, the journey is built around finding the lightest lift that genuinely reaches your sagging.
Jowls only, cheeks and jowls, or the whole midface descending along with the neck — that single observation places you on the mini–SMAS–deep plane spectrum.
The plan names the technique and the reason for it, then states the stay: seven to ten days for mini or SMAS, longer for deep plane so the pre-flight check falls inside the trip.
Lines are drawn around your own ear contours and hairline, which matters if hair is thin or receding. An independent anaesthesiologist clears you the same day.
Whichever depth you are, the temple is lifted in the same session. Theatre time ranges from roughly two hours for a mini to six for deep plane.
Hematoma is most likely early, so blood pressure is kept low and activity restricted while nurses check on you daily.
Mini patients are usually cleared around day ten, SMAS around fourteen and deep plane around twenty-one. Video reviews continue to month twelve as the incision lines pale.
Mini, SMAS or deep plane — all at one price. These answers explain how the facelift technique is chosen.
A facelift is a surgical procedure that repositions sagging facial tissue and removes excess skin to address jowls, deep folds and a softened jawline. At Natural Clinic, three techniques are offered, mini, SMAS and deep plane, which differ in how deeply the surgeon works and how much of the face they address.
A mini facelift lifts the lower face and jawline through shorter incisions. A SMAS facelift tightens the supporting layer beneath the skin for moderate sagging of the lower face and neck. A deep plane facelift releases the retaining ligaments to reposition deeper tissue, including the midface.
The technique is chosen according to where and how much your face has descended. Sagging limited to the jawline may suit a mini facelift, while descent of the cheeks and midface usually requires a deep plane approach. Because all three cost the same, the choice is based on anatomy alone.
A facelift addresses the lower and mid face. The procedures around it — the neck, the brow, the eyelids — are separate decisions that often belong in the same session, and each has its own guide.
